A history of love for web design

For Jan Wilson, owner of Big W Design, Web design is art meets science. While a site should be beautiful to look at, its architecture determines how easy it is to navigate and understand. Jan brings her love for typography to each site, which she designs from scratch, making pages look attractive and professional. Her “techy” gene means she loves coding, speaks programmers’ language and creates sites that withstand the rapid changes of the online world. She has designed Web sites for over a decade for retail and service businesses, individuals and companies in a variety of industries. Working with specialized developers, Big W has implemented sites to fulfill a variety of missions, including eCommerce, content management (CMS), blogs, and custom databases. Big W also brings Flash and dynamic HTML expertise to the table.
